New electricity prices: what awaits Ukrainians from June

A new single electricity tariff for population will be set at UAH 4.32 per kilowatt-hour starting in early June. The decision was made at a government meeting on May 31, according to representatives of the state electricity company.


This tariff will be valid from June 1, 2024, until the end of April 2025, which is less than a year.


Changes have also been made for individual and collective electricity consumers living in residential buildings equipped with electric heating systems.


The tariff will be UAH 2.64 per kilowatt-hour for consumption of up to 2000 kW per month and UAH 4.32 per kilowatt-hour for consumption of more than 2000 kW per month.
