President of Poland: the country is open to the possibility of deploying nuclear weapons, but coordination is needed

Poland does not rule out the possibility of deploying nuclear weapons in its country, but no relevant decision has been made yet. This was stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda in an interview with TVP TV channel.

Duda noted that no decision has been made to participate in the Nuclear Sharing program, but Poland supports the idea of deploying nuclear weapons due to changes in the geopolitical situation. According to him, today Russia is the main threat not only to Poland but also to the whole of Europe.

He also emphasized that Russia's military actions in Ukraine and its provocative behavior reflect the need for the Alliance to adapt to new challenges.

Poland continues to conduct adequate defense, spending significant resources on defense in the face of the growing threat from Russia.

Duda called on the international community to pay closer attention to Russia's actions and avoid an escalation policy in the region.
