In a Telegram post, Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the air defense system worked over the city and Belgorod district, shooting down several air targets approaching the settlement. The attack resulted in infrastructure damage and casualties.
According to Gladkov, a residential building, a bathhouse and a garage were completely destroyed in Cheremoshne village, Belgorod district, after the attack was repelled by air defense. Three civilians who were in the house received minor injuries and refused medical assistance.
The governor reported that a total of 5 private residential buildings were damaged as a result of the attack, with windows, facades, roofs and fences damaged, as well as 3 cars.
Also, a dry grass caught fire in the village of Ustinka, which was quickly extinguished.
Local publics posted a video of the explosions filmed by eyewitnesses, which spread on social media.
