According to Reuters, the US State Department has announced that it has accused Russia of using chemical weapons in the war in Ukraine.


The State Department's statement refers to the use of chloropicrin against Ukrainian troops and the use of chemical means to combat mass riots.


The State Department stated that this violates the international ban on chemical weapons.


In this regard, the United States will impose sanctions on three Russian state organizations and four companies that support these organizations.
