According to the publication's sources, Macron also hopes to attract Chinese investment in the electronic battery manufacturing sector in France.

Macron plans to make a special emphasis at a dinner at the Elysee Palace in Paris, where French cognac, which Beijing is conducting an anti-dumping investigation into, may appear on the table.

In addition, Macron planned to invite his Chinese counterpart to a corner of the Pyrenees, where he often visited his grandmother as a child.
