According to information from Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin before the Ramstein meeting, Ukraine expects the first F-16s to arrive this year, accompanied by trained pilots and maintenance personnel.

Austin emphasized that over the past two years, members of the Defense Contact Group have provided Ukraine with more than 70 air defense systems, as well as thousands of missiles.
He also said that more than 3,000 armored vehicles, including more than 800 battle tanks, as well as tens of thousands of anti-tank missiles, have been transferred.
The Pentagon expects more F-16s to arrive in Ukraine this year, along with pilots and maintenance personnel trained by members of the Contact Group.
