The next amount of US aid to Ukraine will be much larger than usual. This was reported by Politico, citing sources in the US administration.

The military aid package will be sent to Ukraine immediately after the Senate finalizes the law supporting Kyiv, which was recently passed by the House of Representatives.

According to US officials, the new aid package will include armored vehicles, air defense equipment, and artillery. In particular, the USA will supply Ukraine with new Bradley armored personnel carriers, Humvee jeeps, and M113 armored personnel carriers.

One of the publication's sources said that President Joe Biden's administration is preparing "a large-scale package that will help meet Ukraine's needs on the battlefield." He confirmed that the military aid package will include artillery and air defense systems, but it is not known whether ATACMS will be included.

The US Senate is expected to give final approval to the Ukraine aid bill, which provides for a total of about $61 billion in funding, on Tuesday, April 23. Once the law is approved, President Biden must sign it and it will take effect.
