Zelensky held a meeting on the situation in Kharkiv: discussing support for residents

Today, on April 8, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on the situation in Kharkiv. They discussed measures to support the residents of the regional center.


The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, First Vice Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko, Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko, Finance Minister Sergiy Marchenko and the team of the Presidential Office.


"The key is the measures to support Kharkiv residents. We have presented the terms when energy deficits in Kharkiv can be reduced. The government is preparing economic support measures for Kharkiv and the region," the statement said.


Proposals for regional support were also discussed, namely, what "each region, each community of Ukraine can do to support those who have the most difficulties."
