Today, March 28, a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council took place at the ambassadorial level. They discussed Russia's shelling of Ukrainian critical infrastructure. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO.
According to the press service, the meeting was convened at the initiative of the Ukrainian side.
During the meeting, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov informed the allies about the consequences of Russia's terrorist attacks and the response measures taken by Ukraine.
The Minister also called on NATO member states to provide Ukraine with:
- additional air and missile defense systems;
- missiles for them.
