President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived on an official visit to the Turkish capital Istanbul. In the evening, he is expected to meet with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This was reported by Al Ain Turkce.


According to the publication, the plane with the President of Ukraine and his entourage landed at Istanbul's Atatürk Airport. He was also accompanied by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. 


The president and his entourage were met by Foreign Ministry spokesman Mehmet Zahit Uzun. 


Zelensky and his Turkish counterpart are expected to meet at 18:00 Kyiv time. 


The main topic of the meeting will be the war in Ukraine. In particular, the parties will raise the issue of renewing the grain corridor agreement.
