President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived on a visit to Saudi Arabia today, February 27. He plans to hold talks with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. This was announced by the head of the Ukrainian state on Telegram.
The head of state said that the number one topic of the visit is the peace formula. Ukraine has already held a meeting at the level of advisors in Jeddah to implement such an initiative last year.
"Now we are close to holding the first peace summit and we look forward to continued active support from Saudi Arabia," Zelensky added.
According to the President, the number two topic is the return of prisoners and deported persons. The leadership of Saudi Arabia has already helped to release Ukrainians.
"I am sure that this meeting will also bring results," he emphasized.
The head of state also plans to discuss prospective areas of economic cooperation and Saudi Arabia's participation in Ukraine's recovery from the consequences of Russian aggression.
