The Varash city military administration was created not because of the threat of a military offensive. It is about the strategic importance of the Rivne NPP. This was announced by the head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval.
It is noted that preparations are underway for its registration as a legal entity. The head of the region considers the structure and staff of the CMA.
He also met with the mayor of Varash, Oleksandr Menzul, and explained that he and the city council would continue to work together. The work will continue in tandem with Liudmyla Marynina, head of the Varash CMA.
"I discussed with both of them the areas of responsibility and division of duties. I emphasized that there should be clear interaction and coordination between them," Koval added.
According to Koval, the main tasks of the Varash city military administration will be security, defense and budget issues.
"The key thing is that the creation of the Varash CMA is not related to the offensive from Belarus. It is about the strategic importance of the Rivne NPP and the security environment in Varash," the head of the region added.
