Kubrakov calls spilled grain on tracks in Poland a political provocation

All Ukrzaliznytsia cars at the border are sealed by regulatory authorities, making it impossible for Ukrainian grain to enter the Polish market. Scattering the grain is a political provocation. This was emphasized by Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Reconstruction reports.

"The spilled Ukrainian grain on the railroad tracks in Poland is another political provocation aimed at dividing our peoples," Kubrakov said.

He noted that no one wins from spoiled grain. And such "actions" are a loss for everyone, except for the Russians, who are interested in destroying our countries and dividing civilized countries.

The Polish law enforcement agencies, Polish Railways and the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland were informed about the unauthorized interference with the railway at Medyka station, where about 40 Ukrainian freight cars with agricultural products are waiting to be reloaded.

The actions of the Polish protesters also caused outrage at Ukrzaliznytsia. The company calls for an end to the illegal actions, and has sent a corresponding appeal to Polish law enforcement agencies.

"Ukrzaliznytsia strictly adheres to the ban on grain imports to the Republic of Poland introduced in April 2023 and only transits these cargoes through the territory of the neighboring country. All railcars at the border are checked by Polish regulatory authorities and sealed. This makes it impossible for Ukrainian grain to enter the Polish market," the company said.
