Ukrainian Special Operations Forces conducted an operation in the Black Sea and blew up an important Russian facility

Ukrainian soldiers conducted a special operation "Citadel" in the Black Sea and blew up an important occupant's facility. This was reported by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The operators of the 73rd Maritime Center of the SOF conducted a highly complex and effective operation in the Black Sea off the coast of the temporarily occupied Crimea, working quickly in the zone of potential enemy damage," the statement said.

According to intelligence reports, the Russians used one of the illegally seized production platforms to enhance the operation of the Iranian-made Mohajer-6 unmanned aerial vehicle. Namely, they installed equipment that increases the range and radius of its operation.

The enemy used this drone to conduct reconnaissance and subsequent strikes by Shahed kamikaze drones on critical infrastructure facilities in the south of Ukraine.

In addition, the enemy installed a Neva-B radar station for detecting surface objects (from motor boats to ships) on the platform.

Using this radar, the Russians monitored the situation in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
