Georgia is ready to offer Abkhazians and Ossetians "improved prospects"

The government "has an unwavering readiness to offer fellow citizens - Abkhazians and Ossetians - the best prospects for the future, who live in the occupied territories." This was stated in the parliament by Tea Akhvlediani, a candidate for the post of Georgia's State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality.

"I am convinced that peace, development and European future are the inevitable choice of each of us," the acting state minister said.

Akhvlediani said that the government's special concern remains "meeting the needs of the population living near the distribution lines and implementing infrastructural, socio-economic, educational and other measures to support them."
