Ukraine received €1.5 billion of macro-financial assistance from the EU, - Shmyhal

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal shared on his Twitter that on Tuesday the country received another tranche of macro-financial assistance from the EU in the amount of €1.5 billion. 


"Today Ukraine received another tranche of macro-financial assistance from the EU in the amount of €1.5 billion. The total budget support of the EU in 2023 is already €12 billion," Shmyhal noted.


The Prime Minister also thanked the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and EC Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis for this decision, emphasizing that it demonstrates Europe's solidarity with Ukraine.
