Prime Minister of Georgia Iraklii Garibashvili declares that the request for the visit of President Salomi Zurabishvili to Brussels will be granted.

 On Wednesday, the administration of Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili publicly complained that since April 27, it has been waiting for the government's approval for Zurabishvili's visit to Brussels on May 31. At the same time, it was noted that after the decision of the Russian Federation to resume direct flights with Georgia, Tbilisi agreed almost immediately.

 The ruling Georgian Dream party admitted that they do not want to give consent to the country's president's visit to Brussels, allegedly because it could harm Georgia's chances of acquiring the status of a candidate for EU membership.
