The situation is calm on the territory of the Lavra, people are checking documents - the police

The situation on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is calm, no offenses have been recorded. To enter the territory, people present their documents, everyone is allowed through without any obstacles. This was reported by the press officer of the Pechersk Department of the State Police in Kyiv, Oksana Tyshchenko.

 

 "Law enforcement officers ensure law and order, the situation is calm, no offenses have been recorded," Tyshchenko said.

 

 When asked whether passports are checked when entering the territory of the Lavra, Tyshchenko answered: "All persons who enter here simply present their documents and enter, everyone is allowed through without any obstacles."

 

 The Commission of the Moscow State Committee for the Acceptance and Transfer of State Property of the National Reserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" today inspected another monument in the Lavra, where violations were found, after which representatives of the reserve sealed the building.

 

 On March 29, the UOC MP had to vacate the buildings of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. As reported by the ministry, the contract for the use of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra will be terminated on March 29, 2023.

 

 On March 30, the MKIP commission for the acceptance and transfer of state property of the national reserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" was supposed to start work in the Lavra. But on March 30 and 31, the commission was not allowed to enter the Lavra. The police opened proceedings for obstructing the work of the commission.

 

 Skirmishes are periodically arranged near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. For example, law enforcement officers detained four active participants of hooliganism on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on April 19, reported the suspicion.
