France plans to increase the number of 155 mm caliber shells it supplies to Ukraine to 2,000 per month. This was emphasized by the country's Minister of Armed Forces, Sebastian Lecornu, in an interview with the French mass media.

"Paris will supply the ground equipment necessary for Ukraine's counteroffensive: we are doubling the supply of 155-millimeter shells to 2,000 per month from the end of March," the minister said.

According to Lecorne, Paris will also provide Ukraine with the promised SAMP/T air defense system in the near future.

In addition, the French government is considering the possibility of increasing the financing of the European Union fund for assistance to Ukraine. Currently, the 200 million euros allocated by France have already been fully used.
