 Subsequently, a statement from the KGB of Belarus appeared, where the agency claims that they detained a foreigner who was allegedly preparing a terrorist attack on the territory of Belarus.

 

 "During special measures to stop the activities of persons who entered the territory of the Republic of Belarus with the aim of committing a terrorist attack, on March 19, 2023, in Grodno, on Kurchatov Street, a foreign citizen, L. to the fighters of the special unit of the KGB, group "A", - the department said.

 

 It will be recalled that earlier in March, Belarusian dictator Oleksandr Lukashenko signed a law introducing the death penalty for officials and soldiers for treason.
