Russia's war against Ukraine was the beginning of a new Cold War, for its end it is necessary to conclude a new agreement between the Russian Federation and the West.
In an interview with Al-Jazeera, the official representative of the President of Turkey Ibrahim Kalin said.
"Another level of conflict is what is happening at the highest geopolitical level. And here there is a struggle for hegemony between Russia and the West. A different interaction is needed at this geopolitical level. A new agreement between Russia and the West should be concluded," he said.
Kalin believes that we are witnessing a new Cold War. In his opinion, it will continue until all key parties work out the parameters of a new agreement.
It will be recalled that earlier in Turkey they called on the West to bring Ukraine to the negotiating table with Russia.
In addition, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the worst world in Ukraine is better than war.
