The Cabinet of Ministers adopted two resolutions that allow the updated program of preferential mortgage lending to be launched from October. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

 According to him, the government will start the program of preferential mortgage lending, updated for the needs of wartime, as early as October.

 Mortgages at 3% per annum will be provided to Ukrainian military personnel, law enforcement officers, teachers, doctors and scientists.

 "An initial contribution of 20% and a mortgage term of up to 20 years allows everyone who protects, heals and teaches Ukraine to get their home," Shmyhal said.

 He added that the function of submitting a mortgage application will appear in "Diya". The service is currently under development.

 "You fill out an application, choose housing, receive a response from the banks, conclude a contract for the purchase of housing and a contract for a mortgage," the prime minister said.
