Intelligence revealed whether there is a threat of a ground operation from Belarus

Ukrainian intelligence said that despite the fact that Belarus is already participating in the war against Ukraine in one way or another, there is currently no threat of a ground operation by the Belarusian state. Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, said this in an interview with Nexta, which is quoted in the GUR.

According to a representative of military intelligence of Ukraine, the authorities of Ukraine are working out various scenarios, including an invasion by Belarus. Although Belarus is already participating in the war, providing its airfields for airstrikes on Ukrainian settlements, repairing damaged Russian military equipment, and recruiting Belarusians to participate in direct hostilities against Ukraine.

"Strategically, I am sure that Belarus will be a civilized European democratic country, but there is a long way to go. Today, this state is directly dependent on the Russian Federation in many aspects and, obviously, does not have a democracy. Unfortunately, the Belarusian state is already embroiled in a war against Ukraine. As for the ground operation, there is no such threat today, but in the future, if it appears, we will respond appropriately," Yusov summarized, as quoted by the GUR.
