Duda in Kyiv: Poland will support Ukraine until the last day of the struggle

President of Poland Andrzej Duda said that his country will support Ukraine as long as necessary.

 "For us Poles and all Baltic residents, this is also an important anniversary - the anniversary of the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact, under which Poland and other countries were attacked. Poland lost its statehood then. The fact that I am here today also has symbolic meaning. For us, this is also a day of protest against the war, the revival of Russian imperialism," he said.

 

 Duda added that today Ukraine defends its independence, defends the integrity of its state from Russian aggression, which began not on February 24, but in 2014.

 

 "Ukraine can count on Poland. I believe that Ukraine will not only defend itself, but also win, return all its lands and restore itself thanks to the support of Poland and all honest peoples," he said.

 

 On August 23, the second summit of the Crimean Platform will be held, and representatives of about 60 countries and international organizations will take part in it.
