In Mariupol, occupants unsuccessfully try to restore electricity and gas - mayor's advisor

In Mariupol, Donetsk Region, temporarily occupied by the occupants, Russian invaders tried to restore electricity and gas supply in one of the districts, but without success. This was reported by the city's mayor's adviser, Peter Andryushchenko, in Telegram.

"Thanks to the effective partisans of Mariupol, Russian electricians in the Kalmius area burned a new transformer. The reason - electrical work in the rain on the connection. The area is again without electricity. The previous transformer was burned by partisan electricians in June," he stated.

According to his information, over the weekend, the occupiers plugged in 350 watts in ordinary homes instead of 220 watts. Because of this, household appliances of local residents were damaged.

Andryushchenko noted that there was a demonstrative start of gas supply in the Primorsky district. However, an hour after the launch, the gas was lost along with water and electricity.

The official also added that chaotic demolition of buildings continues in the city: "More and more people are forced to either live on the street or break into empty apartments."
