Johnson gave advice to his successor: stick with Americans and protect Ukrainians

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson gave advice to his successor or successor in office during his last series of prime ministerial questions in the British Parliament. This was reported by Sky News.

In his final speech, he said, "I want to use the last few seconds, Mr. Speaker, to give some advice to my successor, whoever he or she may be."

"First, stick with Americans, protect Ukrainians, stand up for freedom and democracy everywhere," Johnson stressed.

He also advised tax cuts and deregulation everywhere possible to attract investment.

"I love the Treasury Department, but remember that if we always listened to the Treasury Department, we wouldn't have built the M25 or the Channel Tunnel," said the prime minister, who will soon leave office.

"Focus on the road ahead, but always remember to check your rearview mirror. And remember the bubble. It's not Twitter that matters, it's the people who sent us here," Johnson stressed.

British Conservative MPs will vote for the party's leadership contenders for the last time on Wednesday to determine the two finalists in the election race.
