In the coming days, the U.S. will announce an additional $800 million in aid to Ukraine - Biden

US President Joe Biden has said that in the coming days the US will announce an additional $800 million in aid to Ukraine. He said this at a press conference held in Madrid at the end of the NATO summit.

 

"We have provided nearly $7 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since I took office. In the next few days, we intend to announce 800 million more," Biden announced.

 

According to the U.S. president, this aid will include for Ukraine "new Western anti-air systems, more artillery and ammunition, radar systems for artillery, additional ammunition for HIMARS, anti-aircraft systems."

 

"We have already provided Ukraine, and more HIMARS will come into the country," Biden added.
