The Office of the President answered the "hard question" of when and how the war will end

The war will go on as long as it takes for Ukraine to prove that Russia must withdraw from the occupied territories. The Ukrainian authorities are considering two options for the outcome of the war.

Mykhail Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the presidential office, told this in an interview with the Zerkalo newspaper.

"It's a tough question," he said in response to a question about when and how this war will end.

According to him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky proposed a minimum program: Russian troops withdraw to the positions they occupied on February 23. After - can begin a peace negotiation process, where all claims to each other will be discussed.

"The task at most: territorial integrity within the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine, the loss of Russia and its transformation. Otherwise it will be in a propaganda binge all the time, revanchist sentiments and constantly seek to resume the war with new intensity," he said.

Podolyak noted that this is the problem because of the high casualties. "The war will go on for as long as it takes for Ukraine to prove that Russia must withdraw from our territories. It's very difficult and difficult because every day of proof requires the lives of tough guys," he added.

According to him, we need to find a mechanism that will reduce our cost. "I don't care how much the Russian Federation pays. It's a high price for us. But nevertheless, we will fight until Russia loses," he added.

Recall, according to the survey KMIS, more than 80% of Ukrainians are against any territorial concessions in exchange for peace.
