The EU countries will soon decide on an embargo on Russian oil. This could happen by the end of this month. This was stated by the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, reports AFP. 

Michel commented on the possible timing of the oil embargo. He believes the EU will be able to reach a compromise by the next summit in Brussels on May 30-31.

"The European Union will reach an agreement on an embargo on Russian oil on the eve of next week's European summit, despite objections from Hungary," he said.
