Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has already lost 29,200 of its military. Nearly 1,300 tanks have also been destroyed.

This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU on Facebook.

The total combat losses of the Russian occupants as of May 23 are tentatively as follows:

• personnel - about 29200 (+150) people eliminated,
• tanks - 1,293 (+8),
• armored combat vehicles - 3166 (+25),
• artillery systems - 604 (+5) units
• Multiple Rocket Launcher Systems - 201 (+0) units
• means of air defence - 93 (+0) units
• Aircraft - 204 (+0) units; helicopters - 170 (+0) units; aircraft - 165 (+0) units; helicopters - 165 (+0) units,
• helicopters, 170 (+0) units,
• operational-tactical UAVs - 476 (+6),
• cruise missiles - 110 (+3),
• ships / boats - 13 (+0),
• vehicles and tankers - 2206 (+12),
• special equipment - 43 (+0).

According to the General Staff, the Russian occupation troops suffered the highest losses in the Bakhmut direction.
