The section of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border will be strengthened along the entire line of the Zhytomyr region. So that there will be no second attempt of the enemy to break into our land.

This is reported by the mayor of Zhytomyr Sergey Sukhomlin during a video address.

"We toured the positions of our territorial defense battalions, which are located on the border with Belarus... They are already well entrenched on the border, and we understand that the enemy will not have a second attempt. It will not be possible to enter Ukraine the way they did on February 24 (ed.). Since May 1, we began to build along the entire line and concrete blocks," Sukhomlin said.

According to him, utility companies will also be involved in strengthening the state border within the Zhytomyr region and all cities in the region will be assigned plots that they will equip.

"We will build a normal line of defense, so that the defenders will be protected by concrete and the rest, and so that there will be no attempts to come in from Belarus with the Russian," Sukhomlin said.
