Latvia fully supports Ukraine's candidate status at the next EU summit. This was stated by the Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs at a press conference.

"I would like to emphasize once again our full support for Ukraine's candidate status at the next EU summit. I think we will have quite fruitful discussions and debates in the coming weeks," said Edgars Rinkevics.

Latvia will also join the reconstruction of Ukraine and will work with partners to establish various centers for women and children forced to move.

The country is also seeking to join projects to rebuild schools, kindergartens and hospitals.
