Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs imposed personal sanctions against U.S. citizens - they are denied entry to Russia indefinitely

Russia has imposed sanctions against officials of the highest echelon of the U.S. government. This was reported on its website by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

 

In a statement on the subject, the diplomatic office said: "In response to the ever-expanding anti-Russian sanctions, which the Biden Administration is putting more and more Russian citizens - officials and their families, as well as businessmen, scholars and cultural figures - 29 Americans from among senior executives, businessmen, experts and journalists, who shape the Russophobic agenda, as well as spouses of several high-ranking officials are included in the "stop list". These individuals are banned from entering the Russian Federation indefinitely".

 

The Foreign Ministry further provides a list of U.S. citizens who are indefinitely banned from entering Russia.

Kamala Devi Harris -Vice President of the United States;

 

Kathleen Holland Hicks -First Deputy Secretary of Defense;

 

Christopher Watson Grady - vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff;

 

John Francis Kirby, deputy secretary of defense, spokesman for the Department of Defense;

 

Ronald Klain, White House chief of staff;

 

Evan Maureen Ryan, secretary of the presidency, wife of Secretary of State E. Blinken;

 

Margaret Goodlander is an adviser to the Secretary of Justice and the wife of Assistant U.S. President for Homeland Security J. Sullivan;

 

Douglas Craig Emhoff, husband of Vice President C. Harris;

 

Robert Kagan is a political scientist and the husband of Senior Deputy Secretary of State W. Nuland;

 

Edward Price is a State Department spokesman;

 

Richard/Rachel Levine - deputy secretary of health;

 

Brian Thomas Moynihan - Chairman and CEO of Bank of America;

 

Mark Elliot Zuckerberg, co-founder and head of the board of directors of Meta (formerly Facebook);

The Foreign Ministry also noted that "a new announcement about another addition to the Russian "stop list" as a countermeasure to the hostile actions of the U.S. authorities will follow in the near future.
