The FSB reported another shelling of a border crossing allegedly by Ukraine

The Russian Federal Security Service said that the Novye Yurkovichi border checkpoint in the Bryansk Region was shelled. The shelling was allegedly carried out by Ukraine.

This is reported by fontanka.ru.

It is reported that the incident occurred on April 13.

"On April 13, the road checkpoint "Novye Yurkovichi" of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Bryansk region was subjected to mortar fire from the territory of Ukraine. At the time of the shelling, there were more than 30 Ukrainian refugees on their way to the Russian Federation, and they were evacuated," the FSB reported.

It is also reported that two cars were allegedly damaged during the shelling, but there were no casualties.

Today, the geography of the shelling has already expanded. Thus, the governor of the Bryansk region said that also in the settlement of Klimovo the AFU shelled residential buildings.

"The relevant services and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on the site. People are being provided with all the medical care they need now," the regional governor wrote in his Telegram channel.

The district's Unified Dispatch and Emergency Management Service (UDMS) said that two shells were fired. It is not known how many shells were fired at Novy Yurkovichi and Klimovo, and most importantly, when. The distance between them is about 40 kilometers.

The day before, the FSB made a similar statement, but then a border checkpoint in the Kursk region was allegedly shelled.

A reminder that on the previous day, Major General Igor Konashenkov, a representative of the Ministry of Defense, stated that if "attempts of sabotage and strikes by Ukrainian troops against facilities on Russian territory" continue, "the Russian Armed Forces will strike at decision-making centers, including those in Kiev, which the Russian army has so far refrained from doing.

After such a statement, the President's Office noted that in case of new Russian missile strikes on Kiev, the Ukrainian side may resort to an adequate response. The OP assures that there are "excellent opportunities against Russia".
