Ukrainian defenders killed Major General Andrey Kolesnikov, commander of the 29th Army of the Russian Eastern Military District. This was announced by Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, in Telegram.

"Good news: today became "two hundredth" commander of the 29th Army of the Eastern Military District (VVO) Major General Andrey Kolesnikov," he wrote.
