Hackers from Anonymous community released a video message to Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which they declared their intention to reveal all the secrets that Russian authorities are hiding from their citizens.
"Anonymous hackers published an appeal to Putin. They did their special operation on Russia. Guys, thank you and invite us to visit the Ministry of Digital Transformation after our common victory over Russia," Ukrainian Digital Transformation Minister Mikhail Fedorov wrote in his telegram channel on Saturday.
He also attached an Anonymous video message to his publication.
"Today we put down the sites of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Kremlin, Russia Today and many other sites associated with the Russian government. Is this a simple coincidence, Vladimir Putin? Anonymous doesn't think so. We plan to expose what has been hidden for years. The power of Anonymous will come down on you and your corrupt henchmen," says a spokesman for the hackers in a video message.
He notes that "it's only a matter of time before Anonymous discovers all the dirt" that Putin is trying to hide from Russian society.
"No skeleton in the closet will remain untouched. We now demand that you restore the rights of the Ukrainian people and step down from your position. You have failed to protect the most vulnerable segments of the population. You have failed in your civic and moral duty as a public servant. Because of your lies, you have failed those whom you intend to govern," said a community representative.
He urged other hackers to "search and dig to leave no stone unturned" from "Putin's power."
"You have decided to start a big war. We will never forgive the lies, and we will never forget the lives that were lost under your regime," summed up the hacker representative.
