Ukraine has already recorded 4.73 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of 13.5 thousand in a day, February 20. According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the decrease compared to the previous day is traditional for the weekend.

Also in the department notes that of those who fell ill in the past day: children - 1,254, health workers - 151. It is also noted that there are more people recovered during the day than diseased - about 14 thousand.

"For a day on February 20 in Ukraine recorded 13,562 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - stated in the message.

Also over the past 24 hours:

- hospitalized - 1,886 people;

- fatal cases - 127;

- 13,904 people recovered.

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

- fell ill - 4,734,333 persons;

- 3 952 363 people recovered;

- fatal cases - 104 645;

- PCR tests were conducted - 19,390,438.

In the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases has been registered in Kiev city (2,297), Dnipropetrovsk (1,353), Mykolaiv (1,099), Odesa (1,011) and Kharkiv (911) regions.

According to the Ministry of Health, 17,172 people in Ukraine were vaccinated against COVID-19 during the day on February 20. The first dose was given to 4,769 people, the second dose to 7,965 people, an additional dose was given to 78 people, and a booster dose to 4,360 people.

As of Monday morning, more than 425 million people worldwide were already sick with the COVID-19 coronavirus disease, according to the Worldometers website.
