MP Oleksandr Trukhin was officially expelled from the party "Servant of the People".

This was announced by the speaker of the party Yulia Paliychuk.

The corresponding decision on the exclusion of the MP was made by the head of the faction Elena Shulyak.

"This means the termination of his powers as chairman of the Poltava regional organization of the party.

The party also calls on the faction "Servants of the people" in the Verkhovna Rada as soon as possible to convene a meeting and consider the incident involving Alexander Trukhin to make a decision," - said in a statement by Elena Shulyak.

Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova also said that without delay she gave the order to register the criminal proceedings, as it is not only about the participation in the accident anymore.
