The Verkhovna Rada has invited Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov to report on Ukraine's defense capabilities. He may speak at the hour of questions to the government on Friday, December 3.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the conciliation council.

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk put to vote a proposal to invite Reznikov to the hour of questions to the government to report on the defense capability of Ukraine in 2021, on the results and prospects in the security sphere. The decision was approved unanimously.

As a reminder, Reznikov previously spoke out about the possibility of a victorious Russian war over Ukraine and said he did not believe it was possible.

He also noted that the European Union and NATO were preparing to be proactive in case of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
