Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said that Ukraine will be able to use F-16 fighter jets to strike military targets in Russia. This will be part of the transfer of fighter jets, Rasmussen told reporters in Brussels on Thursday.
The Danish foreign minister was answering a question about the possibility of using Danish F-16 fighters for attacks on Russian territory. Rasmussen confirmed that such a possibility exists.
The minister explained that this is not a new decision and was part of a general transfer.
Immediately during the discussion with the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Danish Parliament, it was noted that this opportunity will be used for self-defense and strikes on military targets in Russia.
