Women liable for military service will also be fined from 17 to 25,500 hryvnias if they do not update their data within two months after the law on mobilization comes into force on May 18. This was stated by Myroslav Volkov, head of the Kremenchuk district TCC, in an interview.

“Yes, they can also be fined for violating the rules of military registration if they do not update their registration information in a timely manner. Women of certain specialties, mostly doctors, aged 18 to 60 must register for military service and receive a military registration document,” Volkov said.

He noted that the mobilization of women is carried out only with their personal consent, in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 560.

“During the period of mandatory clarification of personal data, which lasts until July 16, those conscripts who are entitled to a deferment from conscription, those over 55 years old, reservists and women with a valid military registration document are not sent for medical examination at all,” said the head of the district TCC.

Conscript women who do not have a valid military registration document or are receiving it for the first time must undergo a military medical commission.
