“Reserve+” application will not be checked on men at the border - SBGS

Border guards do not take into account the data from the Reserve+ application when a person travels abroad, but solely rely on the information in the military ID card of a citizen of Ukraine who is liable for military service. Andriy Demchenko, a representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, said this during a telethon.

“You have correctly noted that this (Reserve+) is exclusively for updating your data and exclusively for citizens, because at the border, SBGS employees do not take this application into account,” Demchenko said.

He also emphasized that only a paper military registration card with the appropriate stamps will be required at the border. This applies to people whose State Border Guard Service has started checking the availability of this document.

“I would like to note that since March, the State Border Guard Service and the Ministry of Defense have established information interaction between databases. This is actually a database of the State Border Guard Service and the Oberih system, and if necessary, border guards can use it as an additional tool to check whether a person is using a fake document by checking information about this person in the Oberih system,” explained Demchenko.
