The head of the Union of Consumers of Utilities, Oleh Popenko, said that electricity tariffs for population will increase on June 1. He gave this information in a commentary for the Live TV channel.
He noted that the Ministry of Energy has been preparing the necessary package of documents for this event for a long time.
According to Popenko, the specific amount of the tariff has not yet been approved, but it is expected to be between 3.5 and 4 hryvnias.
The Ministry of Energy has not yet approved a final decision on this issue.
