To receive an additional payment of UAH 70 000, a soldier must accumulate 30 days of “zero” service: details

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that payments of UAH 70,000 in additional allowances for soldiers performing combat missions on the front line will begin after the Ministry of Defense receives documents on the soldiers' 30-day stay at the front line. He said this during "an hour of questions to the government" in the Verkhovna Rada.

“Not a single payment to the military will be lost. All regulatory documents have been adopted. All payments will be made in accordance with the current legislation and regulations,” the Prime Minister said.

According to him, the documents clearly state that an additional payment of UAH 70 thousand is made for every 30 days of total stay at the front line.

“As soon as the military conducts the accounting and the first documents on 30 days on the front line are submitted to the Ministry of Defense, payments will be made on a regular basis,” Shmyhal emphasized.

As a reminder, on April 12, the Cabinet of Ministers established an additional payment in the amount of UAH 70,000 for military personnel and police officers who perform combat missions “at zero”.
