The former commander of the Polish Army, Waldemar Skrzypczak, said that it is necessary to build fortifications and minefields on the border with Russia and Belarus.


He emphasized that a conflict with Russia seems unlikely, but we need to be prepared.


Skrzypczak called for the construction to start now so that the fortified areas become impregnable in the event of a military conflict.


The general also believes that Europe needs to prepare, to create well-armed troops in case of any possible threats.
