During the telethon, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine is currently in the process of negotiating regarding the supply of four additional Patriot batteries.

He said that it is too early to provide specifics on this issue and that it is better to wait for the relevant decisions to be made.

"The ministers' task is to prepare decisions. And now it is in development, I said three last week, but today I had the last conversation, and I understand that we have four specific batteries on the radar when it comes to Patriot. Negotiations are underway between us and the relevant countries and the USA," Kuleba said. 

The minister emphasized that the task now is to speed up the adoption of relevant decisions: "There will be such decisions, I have no doubt. And this is a positive result for Ukraine."

He also reminded that on April 22, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with US President Joe Biden and this issue was the key one during the phone call.
