Russians want to organize Bucha across the country - NSDC Secretary Lytvynenko

Ukraine should have enough financial, human and material resources to protect the country from destruction. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Lytvynenko said this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine

Lytvynenko emphasized that Ukraine's troops are currently fighting not only for Crimea and Donbas, but also for cities such as Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, and Lviv.

"First of all, they are fighting for Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, and Lviv. For our cities not to turn into Bakhmut, Avdiivka or Robotyne, which have been wiped off the map," stated the NSDC Secretary.

The NSDC Secretary is convinced that Russia is not seeking to create "USSR 2.0" but is planning a nationwide Bucha.

"And their arrival means the death of hundreds of thousands and the suffering of millions. It is about physical survival," Lytvynenko said.

He emphasized that there is no other way for Ukraine but to win: "We have no other chance but to ensure our survival as a free, independent state with opportunities for development."

Lytvynenko also said that Ukraine will not be able to return to the previous state that existed before February 24, 2022.

"We have a different country emerging, with a completely different experience, a completely different economy, a different society. The terrible trauma and catastrophe that the Russians have inflicted on us are hardening the new Ukraine. We will never live the way we used to live," the politician said.
