Former People's Deputy from the Party of Regions was detained by the SBU while trying to leave Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has reported the detention of a former MP from the Party of Regions while trying to leave Ukraine. It is Vladislav Lukyanov.

He was detained at a checkpoint in Odesa region. Lukyanov wanted to leave Ukraine on the grounds that he had reached the non-conscription age of 60. However, he was not released because he was accused of collaborating with Russia.

According to the investigation, after the seizure of part of the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions by the Russian Federation, Lukyanov re-registered his Internet provider under Russian law and paid taxes to the Russian budget.

In addition, according to the SBU, he provided the FSB with access to equipment "that allowed them to control the Internet activity of the local population."

At the same time, the deputy himself was on the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Also, the SBU says, he publicly "justified the aggression of the Russian Federation in the chats of telegram channels".
