Production of Ukrainian Bohdan self-propelled artillery has increased to 8 units per month. Previously, this number reached 6 units. This was reported by The New York Times.
Earlier, at a regular meeting of the military selector in December last year, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced an increase in production of Bohdan self-propelled artillery systems to 6 units.
However, according to NYT sources, now the production of Ukrainian Bohdan self-propelled artillery systems has increased to 8 units per month.
"Ukraine's arms industry is now building eight Bohdan self-propelled artillery systems every month, and while officials won't say how many have been made in total, the increase in production signals a potential 'boom' in domestic arms production," the report says.
The publication also claims that Ukrainian defense companies have increased the production of armored vehicles by 3 times and increased the production of anti-tank missiles by 4 times.
