On Monday, March 18, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 5 billion for the purchase of drones. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The money will be allocated to the administration of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection on a non-refundable basis at the expense of the state budget reserve fund. The agency should buy drones and transfer them to the military.
"Every hryvnia that comes to the state budget in the form of taxes will be used to strengthen our defense capabilities," Shmyhal commented on the government's decision.
